Interconnection and communication mechanism for collaborative robotic systems in industrial environments
Overview
iKnowHow’s solution enables the interconnection and communication of different robots for their efficient coexistence and cooperation to carry out tasks in industrial environments. To this end, two kinds of nodes were developed in ROS. One node runs on each robot individually and periodically sends data related to the state of the robot. The other node is responsible for collecting all the data and creating an up-to-date structure that depicts the current state of the overall system. In addition, utilizing the above structure, the node assigns tasks to the robots according to their availability and suitability. Finally, the results of the solution can be checked in a simulation environment.

Το έργο ξεκίνησε τον Αύγουστο του 2020 και αναμένεται να ολοκληρωθεί τον Αύγουστο του 2022.
